Your cashless wristband lets you Tap to Pay for food, drinks, merch, and more at Baja Beach Fest. It allows for faster checkouts and safer purchases onsite. A bonus is that it keeps fans hands free as well.

To get started, create a cashless account and enter the 6-digit code found on the back of your cashless wristband chip. Then, link your preferred payment method and load funds. Once loaded, your wristband becomes your digital wallet for the weekend.

IMPORTANT: Wear your cashless wristband on the opposite wrist of your festival entry wristband.

You will be charged in dollars when loading money to your cashless wristband.

You can top up your Cashless Wristband at the Cashless Tent on site or online. If you want to load up your Cashless Wristband online, you must first set up a virtual account. If your Cashless Wristband is empty (has no funds) and you want to add more funds, you can load up at the Cashless Tent on site or (if you have already set up a virtual account) you can load it up online. On-site load-ups are possible with the following payment methods: Cash and debit/credit card.

To check your funds, you will simply login to your Cashless Account. There, you will be able to see your balance. If you don’t have an Account or you have any issues with accessing the internet or your mobile device, you can check your balance with any Cashier (they will simply scan your chip to check it). 

You can see your current balance during the payment process at all sales stands at the event and at the Cashless Tents on site. If you have already set up an online account, you can call up your credit balance and all previous payment transactions online. 

Hold onto your Cashless Wristband after the event. The week after the festival, you’ll receive an email to request a refund for any remaining balance. You’ll need the 6-digit code on the back of your Cashless Wristband Chip to complete the process.Refund requests are open from August 13, 2025 until September 3, 2025.

Baja Beach Fest will be 100% Cashless. All purchases at the festival will be made exclusively through the cashless wristband. Your Cashless Wristband can also be used at the official Pre-Party on Thursday and at the official Afterparties at Papas&Beer and Bombay.

Yes. All purchases at the festival must be made using your cashless wristband.

No. There’s no fee to activate or use your wristband.
If you lose your wristband, a replacement fee of $20 MXN (~$1.10 USD) will apply, deducted from your balance.

Head to Cashless HQ onsite right away. Our team will deactivate your lost wristband and issue a new one. A $20 MXN (~$1.10 USD) replacement fee will apply.

Important:
If you did not create your Cashless Account, your funds cannot be recovered.
If you did create an account, we’ll transfer your remaining balance to your new wristband—no problem.
